Michael Sidorov, Ph.D., has been a principal investigator at the Center for Neuroscience Research since 2019. He received his Ph.D. in neuroscience from MIT and did his postdoctoral training at UNC-Chapel Hill.
Dr. Sidorov's laboratory studies neural circuits and behavior in mouse models of neurodevelopmental disorders. Current work in the lab aims to:
- understand how prefrontal circuits encode sensory information
- assess how prefrontal circuits are dysregulated in mouse models of autism and autism-like disorders, and
- develop quantitative EEG biomarkers in mouse models and in human populations.
